Faculty of Business and Economics

The Faculty of Business and Economics at City University of Mogadishu equips students with the knowledge, analytical abilities, and practical skills required for successful careers in business, economics, government, and the private sector. The faculty prepares students to become business professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, economic analysts, policymakers, and business leaders through rigorous and comprehensive academic programs.

The faculty offers programs in Business Administration and Economics, enabling students to develop a strong understanding of business operations, strategic management, market dynamics, economic theory, econometrics, and applied economics. Through academic study, research, internship projects, and community engagement, students gain the competencies needed to analyze business and economic issues at local, regional, and global levels.

Faculty Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of a program within the Faculty of Business and Economics, graduates will be able to:

  1. Apply business and economic theories, concepts, and methods to analyze and address organizational, market, and economic issues.
  2. Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills by assessing arguments, evidence, and assumptions related to business and economic decisions.
